Airport-first rides. Guaranteed pickup. Low cancellations. Built from founder experience and validated by repeat users.
Airport trips are different from normal rideshare: they are scheduled, high-stakes, require luggage space and car seats, and cancellations have outsized cost. Current platforms treat them like any other trip — resulting in higher cancellation rates, surge pricing, and poor user experience.
After 18 months driving for Uber & Lyft I saw a repeating pattern: frequent flyers repeatedly requested the same driver for airport runs because they value reliability and familiarity. Many of these riders booked me directly — which demonstrated demand for trusted, repeat drivers and revealed a structural gap in existing platforms.
Airportrun is a two-sided marketplace built only for airport trips. Riders book with full constraints (passengers, luggage, car seats, pets) and can select preferred drivers. Drivers buy trips at a fraction of the fare to commit — dramatically reducing cancellations and creating predictable schedules.
For riders: No last-minute cancellations, familiar drivers, better luggage handling, reliable boarding windows.
For drivers: Predictable income, scheduled trips, fewer dead miles, improved lifetime value per rider.
Business model: Platform keeps the spread between ride fare and driver purchase price; add-ons, subscriptions, corporate accounts and loyalty upsell.
(Provide more metrics to expand traction section: GBV, trips/mo, active drivers, avg fare.)
Airport rides are a high-value, repeat segment within the global transport market. Conservative SAM for U.S. airport rides is in the multi-billions; globally the TAM is substantial. Our go-to-market is city-by-city, focusing on top metro airports first.
Raising: $10M
Use: Expand into 10 major airports, scale driver ops & onboarding, product & reliability engineering, enterprise partnerships, marketing & sales.
